OEMs and their suppliers need quality air flow measurements of aircraft turbine engine components. Each OEM has a unique testing specification, and their suppliers need flexible equipment to comply with various test procedures. Our equipment meets those needs with a 30-year proven track record.
Uncertainty, repeatability, throughput, and availability are critical elements in the design of each Test System.
Using Sonic Nozzle technology for Air Flow Metering and Windows™-based software for automation of all tasks and Remote Internet Diagnostics. Highly repeatable results for testing aircraft turbine parts at mid-range flows.
Designed for high change flow to throughput of aircraft parts. All measurements in our test stands have accredited, NIST-traceable calibrations. Customizable software allows for generating, saving, and recalling test configuration data as well as configuring, saving and printing test results data.
An automated test stand using a PC-based control system written in National Instrument’s LabVIEW© with a Microsoft Windows Operating System. Designed for repeatable measurement at low flow ranges.
Built for Very Large Effective Area passages in both aircraft and land-based turbine engine assemblies. Uses Sonic Nozzle technology for lowest uncertainty measurements.
The PATS is an Air Flow Metering System that employs 1 to 4 automatically selected Sonic Nozzles (Critical Flow Venturis) to meter the air flow through each Unit Under Test (UUT). The System Controller Software sets the proper pressure at the inlet of the UUT and calculates the mass flow through the sonic nozzle.
